Overview

The National Ice Centre (NIC) in Nottingham is a key venue for ice sports and entertainment, requiring a robust and reliable security infrastructure to ensure the safety of both visitors and staff. With a complex CCTV system in place to monitor the premises, the NIC needed ongoing support to maintain the functionality of the system and ensure its reliability for round-the-clock surveillance.

Challenges

The NIC’s CCTV system spans a large, multi-functional venue, requiring constant monitoring and quick resolution of any issues that arise. Traditional manual tracking and maintenance procedures were time-consuming and inefficient, leading to potential delays in troubleshooting or identifying maintenance needs. Additionally, the complexity of the system meant that immediate on-site support was sometimes necessary, creating a need for clear visibility and faster response times.

We developed and implemented a comprehensive CCTV system support package that addressed both operational needs and strategic system management:

  1. App Development for Asset Tracking and Maintenance
