About the Project
KLI-Tech engaged our team to support a critical out-of-hours infrastructure upgrade at a Santander branch in Newcastle. The objective was to install and commission new data sockets within the bank's reception area—an environment where discretion, cleanliness, and security are paramount. Due to operational hours and the sensitive nature of the setting, all work had to be conducted overnight with minimal disruption to the bank’s daily functions.
Our Solution
To deliver a secure and efficient service, we deployed experienced, security-cleared engineers to carry out the installation during the bank’s closed hours. Our approach focused on precision, professionalism, and strict adherence to operational and security protocols.
Key aspects of the solution included:
- Out-of-Hours Scheduling:
All work was performed overnight to avoid any interruption to customer service or branch operations. This ensured that the bank could open as usual the next morning, with no downtime or disruption to network services.
- Secure Installation in a Sensitive Environment:
Our engineers, fully vetted and trusted, worked with discretion inside a high-security zone. We installed and commissioned two new Cat6 data points in the reception area, ensuring they met performance and safety standards.
- Clean and Professional Execution:
The workspace was left in a clean and orderly state, with careful cable routing and minimal visible impact on the interior environment—maintaining the professional standards expected in a client-facing area.
This project highlights our ability to operate efficiently in sensitive, high-security environments while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and minimal disruption to client operations.
